Message From Kansanga Parish Development Committee
Dear Parishioners,
First and foremost, we thank our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Blaise Zzimbe, for his guidance, spiritual leadership, and tireless support. We also extend gratitude to the other priests who serve as patrons to our committees, strengthening our mission with their counsel. Special gratitude goes to Fr. Dr. Ronald Kigozi, whom we bid farewell today, in his capacity as patron to the resource mobilization sub-committee, for his dedicated service.
Above all, we thank you, our parishioners, for your generosity, prayers, and unwavering support. Every contribution — through certificates, offertory, and personal sacrifice — reflects your love for our Church and keeps our parish strong.
We acknowledge the Development Committee, which has worked diligently since July to mobilize resources and coordinate parish projects.
• Six Month Highlights:
• Resource Mobilisation: Certificates are issued every third Sunday with quarterly fundraising schemes, new payment options introduced to ease and enhance collection options, and initiatives for land use are being explored to generate sustainable income.
• Fundraising: : UGX 85,069,100/= raised as at 7th December 2025 from sale of certificates and other donations toward the church windows refurbishment target of
UGX 306,152,726/=. A balance of
UGX 221,083,626/= still remains.
• Construction: Renovation plans for the Adoration Chapel, repairs in the priests’ residence, burglar proofing in the parish hall and boundary fencing prepared but await funding.
Spiritual & Social Outreach: Leaders’ retreat held with 148 participants; tithe awareness talks introduced; Networking Tea launches on 21st December, giving parishioners a chance to receive certificates, meet the Executive, and learn more about parish projects.
• Communication & Publication: Parish notebooks will be sold to boost fundraising and a year planner has been designed to strengthen identity and accountability.
Our Shared Challenge
All these efforts are guided by one vision:
to celebrate next year’s Parish Day in a complete and renewed church. This is our challenge and our call — achievable through unity, generosity, and faith.
Closing Blessings
Finally, I wish to personally thank the members of the Development Committee, under the patronage of our Parish Priest, for their tireless work and commitment. Your dedication has not only advanced parish projects but has also inspired me to keep going with renewed energy and faith.
As we celebrate Parish Day today, let us look back with gratitude and forward with hope. On behalf of the Development Committee, I wish all parishioners a joyful Parish Day, a blessed Christmas, and a prosperous New Year. May God’s grace guide us as we build together.
“Like living stones, you are being built into a spiritual house.” 1 Peter2:5
